Wii Music

Oh yea Music....now in a Wii!

Name: Wii Music

System: Nintendo Wii

U.S. Release Date: October 20, 2008

Ok, I got Wii Music for Christmas, i thought it would be really awesome, but it wasn't that great as i suspected. I mean it can be fun, just not as fun as i thought.
I mean i saw the commercial
And it looked pretty good. There's just not that much to the game. It really gets pretty boring, and not that fun.Ok you play as any of your Mii's, and well play music of course. Oh and man there's TONS of different songs(52) and instruments(66). You may not start out with much, but you unlock more the longer you play. Now some of them are funny (Dog suit, cat suit, toy piano, Turntablism, NES horn, etc.) and i'm not lying about those lol. They have like every instrument ever made! The first problem is that some of them are pretty hard to control, like let's say you playing the piano in it, you can move your hands to play the note, but you can't move your hands accross the piano key board. They do have notes for you to follow, by pressing the - button and it'll show. There's also 4 little note things(i don't have an image of it) but it's at the bottom right, and there kind of pointless, i would explain more but they make Noooo since what so ever. The second problem is that there's no intro or title??? That makes it look dull. You can also make a video, the ones that the game already had in were awesome, but when you make one it isn't that good, not including you playing the instrument lol. Like the camera doesn't go where you want and all. They have "Lessons" for if you suck that you can practice. But the instuctor in the game is really agervating! Like he talks for 5 hours, and you can't skip through it fast enough, takes forever to skip him talking, plus he sounds kind of like an adult in Charlie Brown, but not as Whaa Whaaish lol. They have minigames, only 3(or 4) as of now, i don't know if there's more.
Minigames
Mii Maestro- Uses the Wii Remote to conduct an orchestra. The player swings the Wii Remote up and down to a certain tempo. Moving the Wii Remote quickly with no real rhythm will make the Mii orchestra play frantically, while slow, more graceful movements will create dragging notes and softer, longer tones. At the end of any song, a round of applause sounds and a numerical score is displayed. It's ok but a little annoying/hard.
Handbell Harmony- Kind of like Guitar Hero, but on the side. There's 8 colored notes on the screen(you only play 2 while the computers play the other ones) and just match them when they pass through and ehh i think i got you when i said Guitar Hero. It's the second best minigame yo.
Pitch Perfect- There's always a different amount of Mii's, and they all sound different, some they play the sound on speakers, and you have to find which Mii the sound matches too, others plays a song and you have to match them in the right order, and there's different levels, and you unlock something if you beat a level too. This game is the funniest/best in my opinion.
They also have another game "Drums" but you can't play it unless you have the "Wii balance board" and since i don't have one i can't talk about it. Sorry, i am getting Wii Fit soon along with the balance board so when i get it i'll talk about it more, ok?
Now the main thing is "Jam mode", you can ether "Quick Jam," it just picks a random song for you to play, "Custom Jam," has 6 people playing, and you choose what musician or instrument you want to play with, and "Improv," you play instruments without backing, (whatever that means).
That's really all to say about it. Let's now do the best part of a review, RATE IT :D

Mario Kart Wii

The 6th Mario Kart Game, yay!

Name: Mario Kart Wii

System: Nintendo Wii

U.S. Release Date: April 27, 2008

Ok Mario Kart Wii is an awesome game, the wheel makes it easier to play, and it is just plain fun. Now you've played the other 5 before; Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart: Super Circut, and Mario Kart DS. So this one is no different. It has new players, idems, tracks. Sometimes it can be hard to unlock a character, but hey their cool enough. The best part of the whole game is that they introduce a new way to ride, BIKES!!!!! The bikes are better, a little better to control, can do tricks, and look cool, plus they turn just so awesomely. Another thing I like is how they extended the racers from 8 to 12, so you can be in 12th place, yaaay. There is some bad stuff about the game, and you know me, I usually always talk about the bad things more lol.

Bad Things

1) Their is no option menu, like lets say you want all the tracks to be 50 laps instead of 3, or you don't want any music or sound. Their is an option menu, but it is just for editing your profile data. -_-'

2) Their is not a good intro! Ok you've seen the other ones before, the intro's were fun to watch well this one......just shows a 30 second thing with Mario and Luigi driving and bumping into each other......* Yarns*.

3) Like i said earlier, some characters are hard to get.

Like here's some that look a little tough to get:

Mii (Outfit B) - Unlock 32 Expert Staff Ghost Data in Time Trials

Mii (Outfit C) - Get 15,000 points in VS mode

Rosalina- Obtain at least 1 Star Rank for all Mirror Grand Prix Cup

Bowser Jr- Obtain at least 1 Star Rank for all 100cc Retro Grand Prix Cups

Baby Daisy- Obtain at least 1 Star Rank for all 50cc Wii Grand Prix Cups

Funky Kong- Unlock 4 Expert Staff Ghost Data in Time Trials

Baby Luigi- Unlock 8 Expert Staff Ghost Data in Time Trials

Dry Bowser- Obtain at least 1 Star Rank for all 150cc Wii Grand Prix Cups

Yeesh, the other Mario Kart games wasn't this hard to unlock characters, ether that or i'm a noob.

4) Let's see, hummm. Battle mode, doesn't suck, but whenever you wanna battle, instead of letting you choose from 2-4 players, they do every player in the game. Plus you don't get to pick which characters you want on your team, better yet choose what color you want, red or blue.

5) After playing it for a while the whole game starts to get boring, and you just stop playing it. But that doesn't mean the game isn't fun.

That's all of can say of it for now. The game is both ok and unok(Yes i know, that's not a real word).

Let's just rate it already.

Gameplay- 9

Graphics- 9.5

Music- 8.5

Animations- 8

Overall- 9/10

Thanks, your welcome, no problem, pesh!

Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis

Oh boy a Mario game, this sounds good.

Name: Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis

System: Nintendo DS

U.S. Release Date: September 25, 2006

What what can i say, i'm crazy for Mario. At first i didn't really want this game but my friend had it and i played it and i said, "I have to get this game!!!" So 3 days later i did, i had to wait for my mom to bring me to Wal-Mart and get me the game(now i buy my own games), the wait was killing me. As you can tell this game is pretty addictive and fun. Lets talk about it.
Mario has to save Pauline, again, from DK, that's the story. All you have to do is use your stylist to move Mario, make him jump, or stop. To make Mario move you just slide your stylist across him. To make Mario jump you put the stylist on Mario and slide up. To make him stop you jump tap him. You just watch them move and make sure they don't die(it's funny when they fall from a high distance and they shader, lol). The level doesn't start until you make one of your Mario's move, you always have 600 seconds to beat a level, that's enough time i know. They have the stage creator makes it twice as fun. You can play as "Mini Mario, Mini Peach, Mini Toad, and Mini DK, but you can only play as Dk, Toad, and Peach on stage creator and you have to unlock them throughout the game. So the game is simple but there is a few bad things about it.

Badies
1. There's only 4 little movies, the intro, the beginning story, the ending, and a musical bonus. They all suck, there too short and pointless to watch.
The intro just shows Mario and Dk winning up the toys and they're just moving and the mini's bumb into each other...like that needed to be in the game.
The beginning story of the game part just showed Mario and Pauline at a Toy store fixing to release the mini toys, Dk see's her, thinks he hot, runs upto her, him and Mario show her a mini Mario and mini Dk, she picks mario's, Dk gets PO and kidnaps her, and Mario is all like, "Are you shitting me?!?!" then the game starts.
Like when you beat the game you expect and exciting ending right, well not in this one. It just shows Mario charging in the top room with Pauline in it just sitting around a bunch of presents drinking tea, and she's ok.....wow. Then Donkey Kong just comes in all sad faced and Pauline grabs a Mini DK and hugs or cuddles with it i guess and Dk is all happy, then the credits roll.....wow how gay.
The musical bonus is unlocked when you unlock a certain amount of stars or beat something, i dunno i forgot. But it just shows a 15 seconds short that is so lame I can't even talk about it.
So yea the movie things suck.

2. The Level Creator is kind of annoying. You can only have 8 levels, every item takes up a certain amount of space(you know so you will have room when making the level), and you always have to resave when you just do one little edit, like i just want to test it, i don't wanna save, and you can't play it unless you save it and it won't make it a level unless you beat the level and all the mini's have to get to the end. But making levels is pretty neato.

3. You unlock something when you get like 40 gold stars but getting gold stars is hard. If your woundering what i'm talking about then let me explain. Everytime you beat a level you may or may not get a Bronze, Silver, or Gold star at the end, the better you do the more points you get for a star. But sometimes they make it WAYYY to hard to get one.

I guess that's it?

So besides that the game is pretty fun, addictive and nice to have.

Rock Band

Well I'm pretty sure most of you know this is a good game.

Name: Rock Band
Systems: Wii, PS2, PS3, XBox 360
U.S. Release Date: November 20, 2007
For one thing it is easier than Guitar Hero, don't get me wrong their both great games but still.
Guitar- Pretty easy. Much different than a Guitar Hero Guitar. The strumming bar kind of makes your hands tired easily but the fret buttons are closer together and easier to press. I also hate the solo's(hard sometimes >:( ) So the guitar is awesome.
Microphone- Ok singing is so simple. The words show on the top of the screen but you don't even have to say the exact words. You just have to get the right tone height and can just say random things in the mic. So mic is nice, not gay
Drums- Cool but somtimes ignoring. Ok it's just 4 keys to press including the drum pedal, but the drum pedal usually breaks alot(mine never broke) but they are the most common malfunction with the whole game. The drums are agravating sometimes cause it doesn't respond when you hit the key which messes you up. Plus there not really like real drums. So the drums....ehh the're ok.
The songs are awesome, gameplay is fun, animation is fantastic, just koolieo. :D
I know most of you know about this game already and i didn't know how to go into further detail.
So yea i guess that's all to talk about
Thankz!!!!!????????!?!?!?!?!??!?!?1???/!?!?!??
Gameplay- 10
Graphics- 10
Songs- 9
Sound- 9
Overall rating is a 9/10

BattleShip, Connect Four, Sorry, Trouble!

Ok this is the worst game i own right now.

Name: BattleShip, Connect Four, Sorry, Trouble

System: Nintendo DS

U.S. Release Date: March 21, 2007

Now, why you ask? Well this game just sucks, it keeps you occupaied but still. It has 4 small board games in it but YuCk! I got it last Christmas, i didn't want it but my mom brought it for me and it came with some accesories, like (Pens, stuff to clean ur DS, etc.)...and the game. Plus the name is sooooo long, i mean look at it. Here's me reviewing every game on it.

BattleShip- Ok Battleship is the funniest one in the game, it takes forever though. It's just like regular Battleship but man it gets annoying. Everytime you shoot a missle it does an animation that wastes time. You can shoot more than one missle at a time but man, goes slow. And the worst part is that everytime the computer or you i think shoots a missle the stupid commander or sailor guy says "He's firing away sir!" It gets really ignoring so i recommand you keep the volume off.

Connect Four- Ok Connect Four isn't gay, the only annoying thing is that sometimes its hard to beat the cpu. This game doesn't really get annoying. The only bad thing is that sometimes you can acediently put the peices in the wrong place. Like you move it by dragging it and if you let go, and in the wrong spot the uhh your peice will fall in that spot.

Sorry- Ok Sorry is the worst one. You can like never move in this one. Everytime you pick a card you just sit there while the computer can move almost every single freaking time. It's just boring just sitting there half the time not barly being able to play, I'd sugest you stick to regular Sorry! I'm also SORRY if I made you sick from talking about it, lol get it?

Trouble- Ehh it's ok, but Regular is better
Regular Trouble- FTW!
Videogame Trouble- GTFO

Ok that's all about the game, it's like the people who made the game remade the rules, now if that's the real way to play them then ok I must be a noob, but that's not how i play them with my family.

So if you see this exact game being sold somewhere, please buy all of them and when you get home; smash, burn, crush, do anything to get rid of this game so noone ever has to be tourtured with this peice of crap.

Thanks 4 reading!

Gameplay- 4
Graphics- 8
Sound- 5

Out of all this game gets a 5/10 for me.

Guitar Hero: On Tour

Ok my first review, here i go.

Name: Guitar Hero On Tour

System: Nintendo DS
U.S. Release Date: June 22, 2008

The game is pretty fun and a great new way to play it. A cool thing about it is that instead on doing a Guitar Duel with only one song you can play it with any character and any song at any time lol. It's pretty nice the way it looks and all but there are some bad things about it.

1. If the grip thing comes out (a little bit sometimes) then the whole game shuts off.

2. If you pause with notes on the screen then the notes disappear for a few seconds and the people freeze, lame glitch.

3. It only has 25 songs in the whole game and they use some of the same songs from Guitar Hero 3.

4. Star power doesn't last that long and activates automacticlly when you wanna save it.

5. The animation lags and is glitchy.

That's all I can think of so far.

So that's what i think of GH: On tour, its a nice game to get but still kind of sucks.
Gameplay- 8
Graphics- 5
Music-7
I give it a total of 7.5/10.
