Name: Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis

System: Nintendo DS

U.S. Release Date: September 25, 2006

What what can i say, i'm crazy for Mario. At first i didn't really want this game but my friend had it and i played it and i said, "I have to get this game!!!" So 3 days later i did, i had to wait for my mom to bring me to Wal-Mart and get me the game(now i buy my own games), the wait was killing me. As you can tell this game is pretty addictive and fun. Lets talk about it.
Mario has to save Pauline, again, from DK, that's the story. All you have to do is use your stylist to move Mario, make him jump, or stop. To make Mario move you just slide your stylist across him. To make Mario jump you put the stylist on Mario and slide up. To make him stop you jump tap him. You just watch them move and make sure they don't die(it's funny when they fall from a high distance and they shader, lol). The level doesn't start until you make one of your Mario's move, you always have 600 seconds to beat a level, that's enough time i know. They have the stage creator makes it twice as fun. You can play as "Mini Mario, Mini Peach, Mini Toad, and Mini DK, but you can only play as Dk, Toad, and Peach on stage creator and you have to unlock them throughout the game. So the game is simple but there is a few bad things about it.

Badies
1. There's only 4 little movies, the intro, the beginning story, the ending, and a musical bonus. They all suck, there too short and pointless to watch.
The intro just shows Mario and Dk winning up the toys and they're just moving and the mini's bumb into each other...like that needed to be in the game.
The beginning story of the game part just showed Mario and Pauline at a Toy store fixing to release the mini toys, Dk see's her, thinks he hot, runs upto her, him and Mario show her a mini Mario and mini Dk, she picks mario's, Dk gets PO and kidnaps her, and Mario is all like, "Are you shitting me?!?!" then the game starts.
Like when you beat the game you expect and exciting ending right, well not in this one. It just shows Mario charging in the top room with Pauline in it just sitting around a bunch of presents drinking tea, and she's ok.....wow. Then Donkey Kong just comes in all sad faced and Pauline grabs a Mini DK and hugs or cuddles with it i guess and Dk is all happy, then the credits roll.....wow how gay.
The musical bonus is unlocked when you unlock a certain amount of stars or beat something, i dunno i forgot. But it just shows a 15 seconds short that is so lame I can't even talk about it.
So yea the movie things suck.

2. The Level Creator is kind of annoying. You can only have 8 levels, every item takes up a certain amount of space(you know so you will have room when making the level), and you always have to resave when you just do one little edit, like i just want to test it, i don't wanna save, and you can't play it unless you save it and it won't make it a level unless you beat the level and all the mini's have to get to the end. But making levels is pretty neato.

3. You unlock something when you get like 40 gold stars but getting gold stars is hard. If your woundering what i'm talking about then let me explain. Everytime you beat a level you may or may not get a Bronze, Silver, or Gold star at the end, the better you do the more points you get for a star. But sometimes they make it WAYYY to hard to get one.

I guess that's it?

So besides that the game is pretty fun, addictive and nice to have.

Gameplay- 10
Graphics- 9
Songs- 9
Animations- 8.5
Story- 7

Overall- 8.5/10

Thanks for reading, man this is my longest review yet lol.
